8-Bit Wireless Development Kit Information Sheet
Overview
The 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit is a demonstration and development kit used for evalu-
ating Microchip’s wireless connectivity solutions that are using PIC ? Microcontrollers.
The 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit enables the developers to evaluate and experiment
with Sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz RF solutions from Microchip. The 8-Bit Wireless Development
Kit includes two wireless daughter boards that can be used to create a simple two-node
wireless network. More daughter boards can be added to 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit
by purchasing additional 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit or individual components.

Getting Started
The 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit comes with a pre-programmed wireless demo program.
With the appropriate hardware available, download the 8-Bit Wireless Development Kit user’s
guide (DS70654A) from the web site http://www.microchip.com/wireless and follow the
Getting Started chapter. Additional tutorial programs that extend the usefulness of the
demo program are also listed in this User’s Guide.
